The Difference Between Pert Tube And Pexc Tube

1、 Different material compositions
1. Pert tube: Heat resistant polyethylene (PERT) tube, made by copolymerization of medium density (MDPE) polyethylene and octene.
2. PEXC pipe: Radiation cross-linked polyethylene pipe is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the production raw material, along with other auxiliary materials.
2、 Different uses
1. Pert pipe: Non crosslinked polyethylene pipe used for hot water.
2. PEXC pipes: floor radiation, heating cold and hot water systems, purified water delivery systems, solar hot water systems, and various chemical fluid delivery systems.
3、 Different characteristics
1. Pert pipe: a kind of medium density polyethylene produced by special molecular design and synthesis process. It uses the copolymerization method of ethylene and octene to obtain a unique molecular structure by controlling the number and distribution of side chains to improve the heat resistance of PE pipe. The maximum heat resistance temperature of PE pipe is 60 ℃.
2. PEXC pipe: PEXC pipe adopts post crosslinking process, and extrusion uses universal extrusion equipment, making the appearance quality of the pipe easier to control; The radiation crosslinking process is a solid-state crosslinking process, which can also be said to be a post crosslinking process.
The degree of crosslinking required for radiation crosslinking is controlled by the radiation dose. The uniformity of crosslinking is determined by the uniformity of radiation, which is controlled by a computer, so its crosslinking uniformity is very good; Due to the need to build large-scale radiation facilities for radiation crosslinking, the initial investment in radiation crosslinking production lines is relatively large, resulting in higher production costs for products.
