Connection between PE pipes and metal pipes and valve accessories

The application of PE pipes is becoming increasingly widespread, and construction personnel must pay more attention to the connection quality of PE pipes to ensure the safe and stable operation of the pipeline network.
Connection between flange PE pipe and other metal pipes
Metal pipes such as PE pipes connected by flanges are used to fasten bolts on flange plates, which is not only easy to operate but also has a short construction period. Flange connection is mainly used for connecting PE pipes to metal pipelines or valves, flow meters, pressure gauges, and other auxiliary equipment. The flange connection mainly consists of PE injection molded flanges, steel or aluminum flange pieces, gaskets or sealing rings, bolts and nuts. Flange connection is the process of tightening bolts and nuts from beginning to end, so that the flange joint is in close contact with the flange component. PE pipes can be connected to other metal pipes.
Flange connection method for PE pipes with valve fittings
Step 1: According to the flange connection requirements, weld the injection molded flange at the end of the PE pipe that needs to be connected;
Step 2: Insert another steel flange into the end of the flexible metal pipe of the valve to be connected;
Step 3: According to the connection requirements of the PE pipe, connect the flat end (following the pipe end) of the injection flange joint to the PE pipe through hot melting or electric melting;
Step 4: Place the flange gasket or sealing ring into the steel flange between the metal pipe end and the flange joint end face (heel type pipe end), so that the connection surface is tightly fitted;
Step 5: Install the bolts and tighten them evenly in a symmetrical position.
