What Material Is Pert Tube Made Of? What Are The Characteristics Of Pert Tubes?

Pert pipe, also known as heat-resistant polyethylene PERT pipe, is made of heat-resistant polyethylene.
Pert tube features:
PERT is a medium density polyethylene with stable mechanical properties, formed by the copolymerization of monomers of ethylene and octene through metallocene catalysis. Its unique ethylene main chain and octene short branch chain structure endow it with superior toughness, stress cracking resistance, low temperature impact resistance, long-term water pressure resistance, and octene thermal creep resistance of ethylene.
1. Flexibility: PERT is relatively soft. No special tools are required during construction, so the processing cost is relatively low.
2. Thermal conductivity: The pipes used for floor heating need to have good thermal conductivity. PERT has good thermal conductivity, with a thermal conductivity coefficient twice that of PPR and PPB pipes. Very suitable for floor heating.
3. Low temperature heat shock resistance: PERT has good low temperature shock resistance. During winter construction, pipes are less susceptible to impact and rupture, increasing the flexibility of construction arrangements.
4. Environmental friendliness: PERT and PPR can be recycled without polluting the environment. The inability to recycle PEX will result in secondary pollution;
5. Stability of processing performance: PEX has issues with controlling crosslinking degree and crosslinking uniformity, and the processing is complex and directly affects the performance of the pipe. The processing of PERT and PPR is simple, and the performance of the pipes is basically determined by the raw materials, resulting in relatively stable performance.
Application field of PERT pipes and fittings
1. Cold and hot water pipelines
2. Solar tube
3. Industrial pipe
