Material Preparation
The PERT resin and EVOH resin are separately prepared and dried to ensure optimal processing conditions.
Extrusion
● Inner PERT Layer: The first extruder feeds the PERT resin to form the inner layer of the pipe.
● EVOH Layer: A dedicated extruder then feeds the EVOH resin, creating a thin middle layer with excellent oxygen barrier properties.
● Outer PERT Layer: Finally, another extruder adds the outer PERT layer, effectively encapsulating the EVOH layer.
Die Head
The combined material stream is then passed through a specially designed co-extrusion die head that precisely shapes the pipe with the desired dimensions and layer thicknesses.
Vacuum shaping and cooling: After mold molding, a pipe blank is formed. After spraying or immersion cooling, it is quickly cooled and shaped.
Winding or cutting
● Winding: Roll qualified pipes into a certain length of pipe rolls for easy transportation and storage.
● Cutting: Cut the pipe rolls into the required length according to customer needs.
Inspection
During the production process, the size, thickness, appearance, etc. of the pipe are inspected online to ensure product quality.
